1. Introduction

This Terms of Use Agreement ("Agreement") governs the use of the Uranos AI Platform. By accessing or using our service, you agree to the terms of this Agreement.
By creating an account, you consent to the processing of your personal data by Uranos GmbH as described in the privacy policy.

 

2. Definitions

• Service: The platform provided by Uranos GmbH, including all related features, content, and services.

• User: Any natural or legal person who gains access to and uses our service.

• Account: An account created by the user to access the service.

 

3. Subject of the Agreement

This Agreement sets forth the terms under which you are granted access to and use of the service during the free trial period. It governs your rights and obligations as well as those of Uranos GmbH.

 

4. Registration and Account

4.1 Registration: To use the service, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information.

4.2 Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities conducted under your account.

 

5. Usage Rights

5.1 License: Uranos GmbH grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the service in accordance with this Agreement.

5.2 Restrictions: You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, or otherwise commercially exploit the service, except as expressly permitted under this Agreement.

The use of the AI tool is limited to a number of requests per month, based on your subscription. Exceeding this limit is not permitted and may result in the suspension of access or restriction of functionality. Uranos GmbH reserves the right to adjust the usage limits at any time and will inform users of any significant changes.

 

6. User Obligations

6.1 Compliance with Law: You agree to use the service in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

6.2 Prohibited Conduct: You may not use the service for illegal activities, to distribute malware, to infringe upon third-party rights, or in any other abusive manner.
Any extraordinary use that does not correspond to the intended purpose of the AI tool is expressly prohibited. In particular, the use of the AI tool for unauthorized, illegal, harmful, or unethical purposes is excluded.

 

7. Termination and Expiration

7.1 Expiration of Agreement: The agreement automatically expires upon the end of the agreed license period, without the need for termination.

7.2 Termination by Uranos GmbH: We reserve the right to terminate your account in case of a breach of this Agreement or for other legitimate reasons.

 

8. Intellectual Property

All rights to the service, including copyrights, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights, are owned by Uranos GmbH or its licensors. This Agreement does not grant you ownership rights to any content of the service.

The texts, images, and other information shown in the Uranos Platform are subject to copyright. Any duplication, reproduction, or other use without the consent of Uranos GmbH is not permitted. This includes especially any use for advertising/PR purposes as well as use in academic papers.

 

9. Limitation of Liability

9.1 Disclaimer: The service is provided "as is" and "as available". Uranos GmbH makes no warranties as to the error-free operation, security, or availability of the service.

9.2 Limitation of Liability: Uranos GmbH shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the service.

 

10. Privacy

Your use of the service is subject to our Privacy Policy. Please read it carefully for information on how your data is processed.

 

11. Amendments to the Agreement

Uranos GmbH may amend this Agreement at any time. Changes will be published on our website and shall take effect upon publication. Continued use of the service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the amended terms.

 

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. The exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from or in connection with this Agreement is Hamburg.

13. Model Training and Data Usage

​

13.1 No Use of Customer Data for Model Training: All contractual agreements with AI subprocessors explicitly prohibit the use of customer data provided through the Uranos AI Platform for training foundation models. This ensures that no content, input, or output associated with your account will be repurposed to improve or build general-purpose AI models.

13.2 Permitted Data Processing: Customer data may only be processed to the extent necessary to provide, maintain, and improve the specific services offered under this Agreement. This includes, for example, temporary processing for technical functionality, error correction, or service optimization strictly within the scope of the agreed use.

 

14. Miscellaneous

14.1 Severability Clause: If any provision of this Agreement is found invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.

14.2 Entire Agreement: This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and Uranos GmbH with respect to the use of the service and supersedes all prior understandings.
